ESH Director Doug Rigsby

Experience & Responsibilities:

Doug joined the Trans Ash team in 2011 and brings more than 33 years of environmental, health, and safety experience within the construction industry. As Director of Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH), Doug provides strategic leadership for the company’s safety and environmental programs while championing a strong, zero‑injury culture aligned with Trans Ash’s core values.

In his role, Doug oversees regulatory compliance, incident investigation, injury case management, safety policy development, insurance and claims management, and proactive risk‑reduction initiatives. He leads and develops the ESH team, chairs the company Safety Committee, collaborates closely with clients and internal departments, and provides safety support during the bidding process. Doug also plays a key role in monitoring performance metrics such as EMR and implementing data‑driven programs to continuously improve safety outcomes across the organization.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Wright State University.
