At Trans Ash, we are committed to providing innovative and environmentally responsible solutions for handling fly ash. We specialize in creating lined landfills that safely contain processed ash, ensuring the highest standards of environmental safety for our energy clients.

The Recruiter role is a full-time, hybrid position located at the Cincinnati Office. You will work closely with the HR team and the Site teams to reach our staffing goals. Join our team and be part of a company that values reliability, accountability, safety, and honesty. Pay Information:

$23.00 - $26.00 / hour

Job Summary

Recruiter is responsible for finding, screening, and provide help to the hiring manager. Their duties include sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and calling back potential candidates. This position requires an extremely organized, continuous, and perceptive person who is effective at relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. The recruiter must be sensitive to and supportive of company strategy, employee goodwill, and the overall needs of the business.

Essential Functions

  • Understanding the hiring requirements of hiring managers.
  • Attracting candidates through various channels like social media and professional networks.
  • Reviewing resumes and screening candidates.
  • Schedule interviews by coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintains employee and applicant documentation compliant with internal and external requirements.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of electronic and paper employee personnel records and files.
  • Staying updated about hiring trends and best practices.
  • Sourcing career fairs in all applicable states.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of HR or recruiting experience. 
  • HRIS or ATS experience (Experience with Vista, Keystyle, or Arcorois a plus).

Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to be a flexible and a dependable team player.
  • Effective in both verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Education/ Certifications:

  • A minimum of a HS Diploma is required.
  • A 2 or 4 yr. degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Candidates with a PHR or CP certification are highly desirable. 

Other Information

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine need.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a MVR, background check, and drug test (including THC)
