E - Crane Operator (Amos)

Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This position is located at the John Amos Plant in Winfield, WV. 

Pay rate: 

$21.63 - $28.12 / hour Higher starting pay with relevant experience. Weekly Pay Potential Overtime available

Job Summary:

Operating heavy equipment such as E-Crane, excavators, and bulldozers.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate E-Crane to unload limestone from river barges.
  • Operate heavy equipment to place stone in stockpiles and feeders.
  • Operate heavy equipment to load or place dirt, ash, or other materials.
  • Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment before operation.
  • Perform all duties in conformance with safety standards.

Job Requirements and QualificationsEducation:

  • Previous construction industry and/or equipment operations experience.

Training Requirements:

  • Trans Ash will provide the necessary safety training for the job.

Experience:

  • Operators with 3+ years of operating experience are preferred.

Other Information:

  • Ability to climb and operate heavy equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a construction environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
