Lube Technician and Light Mechanic (Roxboro Power Station)

Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. We are looking for a Lube Technician/Light Mechanic to join our team at the Duke Energy Roxboro Power Station in Semora, North Carolina. 

Pay Information: 

$22.60 - $28.12 / hour 

Higher starting pay with relevant experience. 

Weekly Pay 

Potential Overtime available

Job Summary:

Greasing and fueling equipment and light mechanical repairs. 

Essential Functions:

  • Daily Inspection of equipment for safe operation.
  • Lubricate equipment daily.
  • Perform minor repairs (oil leaks, hydraulic hoses, lights, etc.).
  • Complete maintenance tasks according to manufacturer schedule and in conformance with all maintenance and environmental policies.
  • Report issues to the Site Supervisor.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Training Requirements:

  • Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.

Experience:

  • Prior experience servicing heavy trucks/equipment.

Other information:

  • Overtime may be required.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a construction environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
