Parts Runner (Gibson)

Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This is a full-time position at the Duke Energy Gibson Plant in Owensville, Indiana. 

Pay Information:

$15 - $24 / hour

Weekly Pay

 Job Summary:

Supports Shop Operators by managing inventory.

 Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining inventory by communicating parts needs to vendors and verifying correct parts are received.
  • Picking up and delivering parts.
  • Record-keeping.
  • Assisting with maintaining organization in the shop area.
  • Performing manual labor, as needed (ie: silt fence, shovel, rake, broom, sledgehammer, continuous bending over picking up objects).
  • Report issues to the Site Supervisor.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

 Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Training Requirements:

  • Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.

Experience:

  • Prior experience servicing heavy trucks/equipment/ automotive preferred.

Other information:

  • Overtime may be required.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a construction environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
